Announcement

With great sadness I have to announce that my father passed away at Sandro Pertini Hospital, Rome, on Wednesday, June 23 2010.

I wish to thank all those around the word who have sent messages of condolence and  expressed gratitude for his work. My father will be greatly missed by us all, but I am sure his work will continue to influence many coaches.

In the last years of his life it was his will to divulgate his work in English directly under our control so that many of the misinterpretations due to inaccuracy of translation made in the past from his Russian manuscripts and articles could be understood.

The first step of this project was the website on which we started to publish articles and manuscripts and, according to his will, the site will continue to be open until all his works have been published.

Basic understand of the Conjugate sequence system
Hello again all members of the board,

The last time I was here was about 2 years ago when I was in the process of learning about the CSS. Since coming to this board and figuring out plainly that the CSS was a very complicated system I decided to take a break because I wasn't getting simple answers or anyone else on the board to help me understand exactly how the CSS works.

I have since decided to get back to training. I have since inherited a gym from a family member so that i can start my own CSS program from home. I know that CSS is mostly for professional athletes or people who compete in a designated sport, and not for people in recreational sports. However I would appreciate it if someone (apart from the busy dr Verkhoshansky) can give me links online to a very simple and basic understanding to what CSS is and how to put together a program. As of now i have searched everywhere been to numerous groups (supertraining yahoo group) and the more i try to understan the more i get confused. One thing I hate is when i ask questions about CSS i get people telling me of different programs or things i can try which is not CSS at all just some ridiculous program that doesn't work or not even close to what i want. I just wish to get the very basic understanding of CSS and how to create your own CSS. I would even like it if someone posted one of their own programs to give me an idea of what to do because i am totally lost. When I can afford DR Verkhoshansky's books i will buy them. But right now i am totally lost. i have no idea what i am doing. I can't even afoford right now to go to the gym and get someone to draw me up a program. I just don't have the money and most trainers have no idea what CSS is.

Would you rather i keep researching and end up doing the wrong thing or at least point me in the right direction and let me find out what to do?

Any or all replies are welcome. (Event he busy Dr. Verkhoshansky if he so wished. But I need a basic understanding and samples of what other people are doing/have done to give an idea of what we are supposed to be doing.

Thanks
