|The sport of Arm Wrestling is becoming more and more advanced. There is word that it will enter the Olympics soon. I am very avid in my sport and I seek an edge in my performance, so I naturally go to Verkhoshansky.
I have researched the texts throroughly. Supertraining and Special Strength Training Coaches Manual.
Im having difficulty developing a workout scheme most sutable for my sport, and specifically the main exercises to apply to them. Most sports covered in the texts are leg-dominant. I am doing many squat variations with the Shock Method, however.
Also, there are many small muscles required to have stability strength. At a tournament, explosive power is need over many bouts. But if one match lasts long, the athlete with more endurance can overcome.
