In order to consider a concentrated strength load, it has been stated (Verkhoshansky, 1990; Issurin, 2007) that around 70-80% of the total mesocicle load must be dedicated to one or maximum two main training targets. My question is if this % of total load is referred only to total strength work or to total work (included endurance, speed and other type of training physical loads).
This could be a key question in order to name a periodization as "concentrated load model" or non, specially in team sports as soccer.
