Rest in peace Professor Verkhoshansky
I am writing to extend my deepest sympathies to Professor Verkhoshansky's family and friends. I was so very sad to hear about his death, he was such a great scientist, innovator and teacher. Even though his time was very limited, he took time to answer questions and share his expertise.

I had the honour and pleasure to learn from Professor Verkhoshansky. I'm a great fan of his books and articles, and was happy for the chance to communicate with him when he started this forum.

I will never forget what I have learned from him.

Professor Verkhoshansky and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely yours,
Nizar Abu-Hamdeh
Vienna, Austria

Re: Rest in peace Professor Verkhoshansky
No one has impacted my training & my training of others more than Professor Verkhoshansky, and no one ever will. His writings, research, and passion for the sport sciences will stand the test of time.

You will be missed.
