When inseason for football, explosive strength should be in maintainance. This means that the exercises you should have used in early blocks of training (such as box jumps) are now considered relatively low stimuli. These means can be used for maintainance.
When inseason for basketball, explosive strength is maintained by the sport itself. The focus of training should be on maintaining/improving the biological power of the athlete.
